The Callouses on Your Hands by insignificant wrangler

When my daughter was about to turn 2 years old, my wife and I discovered an odd reflection in her photographs. We soon discovered the reflection was retinoblastoma, an aggressive form of eye cancer. Six months later, after chemotherapy, she lost her left eye. Two years later, she is healthy and looking forward to her 4th birthday.
Years later, my wife and I still find ourselves drained from the ordeal. Part of joining SF0 is a way of getting ourselves off our butts and doing things together, with our beautiful and healthy daughter. Today we started by drawing pictures.
