A photograph takes into account two things being and visible identity...we assume photographed representations of people to actually exist after the moment has passed. We assume many things about their gender, subculture identity, sexual orientation, style, fashion, identitie(s) based on sight. Any photograph is a consistent reminder that one is no longer the person in the picture, but something separated from that moment when the shot was snapped and a moment later when we have breathed another breath.
