I found the pattern on knitty.com. Even the pattern was more of a guideline as the instructions for creating the bark pattern were 'insert random knit and purl stitches to create the bark pattern'. So I used a declining fractal equation on one side and a random number generator for the other. I was part of a SnB that's kind of defunct now, I need to get into another one.

Just did, sounds cool, not at that level yet. *sigh* I could so spin the wool to knit a condom cozy to send to a friend of mine that doesn't use them as often as I think he should.
