Trespassing the Future by Joshua Judkins

INSTRUCTIONS: Go to a place you will not be able to go to in 10 years; for instance, a place under development that will never be the same again.

After having joined sf0 this morning, I was immediately captured by this mission as being one I could tackle right away - and have always been captivated by time, and looking back from the future.

Wellington, the capital of New Zealand, has been going through another one of those big periods of urban renewal - which has seen lots of interesting character filled buildings which have been around for 100+ years (no building in NZ are really old) getting torn down and replaced with faceless monoliths.

On my way home from the CBD, I spotted this area and suddenly remembered the challenge. It was the site of a petrol (gas) station, which was pretty much killed by a change in the direction of the inner-city one-way streets.

To the amusement of a few of the people around, I pulled out my netbook and recorded the following video proof:

I would love to think that might be the case, but Wellington and Queenstown aren't even on the same ISLAND I'm afraid ;->

Aww man - I WISH I'd found out about SF0 through that secret message, but over-and-above being on the wrong island I haven't even been into a McD's for a few years.
