If you have ever rubbed warm ash between your fingers then you will know what I am talking about. If you haven't then i suggest you do. Haha! this probably sounds strange, I'm an artist so i spend a lot of time around charcoal, which is similar to ash. I wanted to take an object and turn it to that soft grayish material. I found a book that I knew I was never going to read, I had no desire to read it. I'm sure it was an interesting book but I have other books I would rather read.
