Description:

The Senate campaign for Markov Walker and Dan officially kicks off Saturday, September 4th, with a campaign rally at the headquarters of La Madre, Sass Afrass, on the north side of the Big Onion, Chicagø. The rally will begin at 5pm CGØ time (3pm SFØ time) and the ceremonies officially end at 9pm.

SF0 players in Chicagø are invited and encouraged to attend. Contact Sass Afrass or Markov Walker for location details.

The campaign itself officially launches at 7pm when we post our full platform and open the polls for voting. This will be followed by the candidates delivering a brief campaign speech. Wine and snacks will be served, with dancing before and after the launch event.

Attendees should dress in their Character's finest, or as their finest Character(s).

Below is a brief introduction to our campaign platform. Supporters and opponents outside Chicagø are encouraged to log on at 7 CGØ (5 SFØ) to see the full platform and to get updates.

Noticing a striking lack of transparency, activity, accountability, or even a coherent governing platform in our government, we, Markov Walker and Dan, are announcing our candidacy for SF0 Senate.

Our incumbent Senators seem to believe governing amounts to creating a checklist of "for" and "against". Once elected, we will remind our colleagues that it is not enough to be in favor of a strong economy, better education, or against villiany. We must do something to build a strong economy, to improve education, and to oppose villiany.

We present a platform of unprecedented scope and clarity. We've broken down our platform into four parts: an economic plan, our social policy, a reform of our government process, and our ongoing education effort. In all cases we elaborate on the current state of the SF0 community. We then present our plan for improving our current situation with as much detail and clarity as we can provide.
