Ethereal Cartography by soil man

INSTRUCTIONS: Make a map of something that does not exist physically.

Nothingness, void, non existence, emptiness, have all been on my mind lately. My thoughts keep returning to what a perfect void would be like. what absolute nothingness would be like. As i try to picture it or grasp it I keep defining it, making it into something. I guess even nothingness is something and nonexistence exists, ect. Anyway i thought it would be fun to make a map of nothingness. i didn't want to have a black or white piece of paper. So i splattered watered down acrylic paint and folded it over making those ink blot thingys. let the paint try and did it several times with different colors. i thought even chaos and randomness has a pattern and order, perhaps the symmetry could express this. Of course what is a map without buried treasure. Welcome to Nothingnessia.

1 in. on the map equals infinity. (just by defining this the map is no longer a map of nothing... damn. haha)

the blank areas or white is "nothing." the blue paint is the "nooceans." the pink is the "noland." the yellow is the "nocity's," where the "nopeole" due nothing. the dotted line is the path to the treasure that doesn't exist cause there is no way to get there and even if there was away it wouldn't be there.
