I'm a big fan of candy, I eat it while I work.
Usually one or two at a time. Just to occupy myself while I think, puzzle, or write.
Today I made a time-lapse of my candy plate.
Amused by the idea of the emergent patterns made by the hellsamulticolored sweets I was eating, I set my camera to take a picture every 20 or so seconds ~ midway through I began manipulating the lie of the candies between the camera shots. "Hello world!" my little candies say.
Then I went to a meeting and my emergent candy art was cut short. Still, here it is, immortalized.
Soccer ball was just sorta hanging around, until Big Blue Egg came to roost.
Some spin leeks, I spin nails. I was interested in playing with the edge of the frame as a solid (well, bouncy) frame. The nail shoots intot he wal then bounces and falls out of the bottom of the frame. (Bye, nail!)
The flower was difficult, as I had to hold the camera with my left hand and draw in between programmed shots - then reorient the camera before the timer took the picture. I had the camera taking pics at 7 second intervals.
As the boss tried (in vain) to rock the teleconferencing software ~ I tried to rock the time-lapse software surreptitious-like in the meeting room. Alas, the framerate on playback is a bit rapid.
Really though, all of this was practice building up to the final showdown, featured here, for the first time.
Witness, my friends, Large Feline vs. Large Reptile!
Stop motion is fun :)
