Everyday Life by Noel

INSTRUCTIONS: Don't go to work. Don't go to school.

Don't go to work. Don't go to school.

So what was accomplished?

I tried to discover the Pynchon books The Crying of Lot 49 and Slow Learner that are hidden somewhere on my bookshelf. This proved to be ineffective.

The battle began like this:

However, I was quickly overcome by the tendency of the Pynchon novels to shift and relocate themselves, as can be seen from the following pictures:

The score is as follows:

Entropy - 1
Me - 0

I'm afraid that other parts of the room will begin to shift and change. Lines beneath lines, shelves beneath shelves, books beneath books...all winding into one tidy knot of lost and ever changing things.

The stacks start like this...

Pynchon 2

Pynchon 2

where does it wish to go?

Pynchon on the move

again

Pynchon on the move...

Pynchon on the move...

how long will it go on?

Yay for Pynchon!

I referred to something this summer as being like something out of a Pynchon novel, and some fellow was surprised that I knew Pynchon. Really. Harumph.
