Package From The Insane by mock piratey turtle, Ryan Blitstein
May 25th, 2006 8:44 PM
question: does imiating the insane make us insane ourselves?
answer: yes, at least a bit.
so if anyone read the article in SF weekly, obviously this is what he was talking about at the begining there. the fun part was that the reporter was the one labeling all the little pieces of packing corn, while i was stabbing them with a paperclip. we were going at this in a cafe in berkeley, and two random fellows wandered by, and, appropriately, were confused by what we were doing. when they asked, i told them about the game, and the task, and they eagerly asked if they could help. it was a fantastic example of the random collaborative gloriousness that is sf0.
so thank you, random dudes from the cafe, for fun equations and newspaper cutouts. if you have since joined the game, let me know, and i'll add you as collaborators!

The package has been recieved and by way of the grapevine, this is what they responded:
holy jesus
i don't know who it's from, but i just got the most incredible package ever received by a human.
mission accomplished.

I made the list as well? Oh dear. I rather like all the mathematical equations. It's strangely calming, pushes through the chaotic and worrisome pierced foam peanuts.

I feel blessed that I saw this in person before you sent it. It's fantastic. I need to get to work on mine, soon.
