Chapter 6: A Journey's End

Cake had been bought. Chocolate would be had by all in only a couple hours
time. But, now we were truly chasing the sun. Again we found ourselves
racing down Geary, each hill providing new hope that it would be the last.
After what seemed like years, we topped one last crest and there it lay, the
mighty Pacific was within our sight. We made our final descent down towards
Point Lobos and after only moments our feet graced the beach where we played
football and basked in the joy of our accomplishments. Eight Tasks completed in one day! An adventure indeed. The sun set and our
journey was finally complete. We left the wilds of San Francisco and
returned to our comfortable East Bay abodes. But fear not, good reader, for
we shall return to adventure again. Until next time...
