Plastic Plant Liberation by Skitz Ø

I wasn't planning on doing this praxis yet but as I was shopping at a local craft store for supplies I saw plastic flowers for cheap up front. Being a money saver I jumped on the chance and got me a fake pot. I bought it and slipped it into my ol' pack.

At first I wasn't sure where I was going to put it but as I drove home I saw good ol' Farbach-Werner Nature Preserve. This small park (22 acres) butts right up against one of the busiest roads in the area.
As I entered the park the sun was bright, the air was cool, and the hum of traffic was humming in sync with the songs of the birds in the trees. Just a beatiful day.

It was even cooler underneath the trees, in both senses of the word. Squirrels frolicked and played in the underbrush and as I pondered my nice little plants location I noticed this sign by the pond. Intersting.

I slipped off the trail and put found this wonderful rotting log. I pulled the psuedo-plant out of the styrofoam pot/prison and placed it in the ground to live free.

Right now it's noticable from the path only if you pay attention. Once the leaves are gone and winter sets in it'll be a blaring reminder of the summer gone by.
