Trespassing by Skitz Ø

INSTRUCTIONS: Go somewhere you are not allowed to go.

While heading home late one night, I was thinking about both what a lovely evening it was and how I hadn't done much tasking. While contemplating how I could combine these two thoughts when I drove past a construction site. The sign said no but my mind said yes.

I first tried to find a good place to scale the fence out of view of the street. As I followed the edge, though, I found a nice big whole where I guess they move equipment in and out.

The first thing I saw were the scaffoldings set up along the walls. I love climbing things so... it was only a tick of time before I was on the top.

I slipped into a window from there and found a series of dark concrete rooms and a few really well lit ones.

Some more explorations of rooms quite similar to this, I heard what I think might be footsteps. I slipped out a diifferent window down another scaffold and on to more exploration. After slipping in and out of shadows, just a tad bit paranoid. That's when I saw them. Lots and lots of wonderful big vehicles with big engines and lots and lots of power. I felt as though I was no longer trespassing in a construction zone but in my own little heaven.

The first one I "illegally occupied" was a little ol' Bobcat. Oh so cute.

After taking peeks at steam rollers, fork lifts, and the likes I found that sweetest of all haulers. The dump truck.

The size is overwhelming, like skyscrapers or old growth trees. The tires themselves were almost taller than me.

I wanted to get a closer look at the cabin so I scaled the little ladder to check it out.

As luck would have it, I could get a little closer look than I was expecting.

How could I resist some illegal occupation of this monster of a vehicle. The answer, I couldn't. So in I go. The seat was surprisingly comfortable. Quite plush.

Someone was nice enough to help me get a nice close look so I was nice enough to liven up their day.

From the cabin I could spot my second favorite vehicle, the backhoe.

Sadly, the backhoe operators weren't so nice/forgetful. By this time it was getting late and I was getting hungry so I slipped out the way I came and went on home. Maybe not the most exciting adventure to read but I enjoyed it thouroughly.

I discovered recently that my car keys, inserted half way into the ignition, work perfectly to start up cherry pickers. Y'know, fyi.
