Carshare MusicShare by qwerty uiop, Sean Mahan, Ian Kizu-Blair

INSTRUCTIONS: This is for anyone here who uses City CarShare (or other car sharing service)

Share a CD.

Leave a favorite CD of yours (or a copy) playing in a CarShare vehicle. You should put into the glove compartment a case with a label saying something like the following:

"CarShare MusicShare
If you want to borrow this CD, feel free to do so, but please return it to a CarShare vehicle (it doesn't have to be this one). Also, when you return the disc, please write the date/pod*/model/VIN of the car you are returning it to on the CD case [in the glove compartment]. If you have music you want to share please do so using similar labels."

On top of the CD, write that the case is in the glove compartment. If you want, also include a few extra labels in the glove compartment to make it easier for others to share. Add a matching disc number on the CD and its case to make sure they stay together (e.g. I used VK01 [my initials + how many discs I've shared]). Write sf0.org somewhere on the case too.

Hopefully there will be new and interesting music floating around the fleet of cars all the time. Also I hope that each CD will develop a travel history and that sf0 members might post pictures on the site if they find well traveled CDs.

*City CarShare slang for pickup/dropoff location.
