We had a Valentine's Day party instead of my birthday party on July 22. I wish we could do this every weekend, but we would probably get evicted.
You are invited to a Valentine's Day Party. In July, you ask? The heart has its reasons, which reason does not know. What the world needs now is love, and there will never be another you. You're someone special. Won't you be my Valentine's Day party guest?
The only common space in our house is the kitchen, and we decorated there: red candles and cups, a chain of construction paper hearts over the window, and a big white mosquito net canopy affixed to the ceiling with nails and pink wire ties. Sam's room was partitioned off as the makeout room with a big red vinyl tablecloth over the door.
There was more construction paper, scissors, markers, and tape for people to make Valentines to wear on their shirts or give to others, and by the end of the night, our guests and the house were decorated with hearts.
We served chocolates and altoids in addition to a ton of alcohol provided by Alex and awesome homemade beer provided by Nick, all of which was gone by morning. We also spent the week planning dance mixes which went over so well, and there was even slow-dancing. Devin played a set which unfortunately i missed but heard was very good.
None of us took pictures during the party, only before and the aftermath.

Don't let our love grow dim in the blinding glare of the city's greedy sensuality...
Very nice.
And happy birthday, to whomever's birthday it was! I can't tell. :p
