in a seventh grade anthropoligically-tinged social studies class we did this. the teacher called on me to empty my pockets, which held a reduced-price lunch ticket (a then-oh-so-embarrassing sign of my family's financial situation) and a bottle of eye drops. "what could be said about this person?" asks miss saven. (here comes the punch line?) "she was poor cause she spent all her money on douches."
i would love to do this task, but the social inequitiaties of adolescence are still too fresh in my twenty-odd-year-old mind.
i had no idea "ment" had such eerie militaristic images associated with it. i can't seem to find any explaination as to why.
I'm not sure I believe, but computers don't lie. (I guess...)
i google image searched each syllable of the sentence "expectation leads to disappointment" and then "punctuation", because you cannot have a sentence without end punctuation. these photos were amongst the most visually appealing.
