Cool Memories by superbooks

INSTRUCTIONS: Examine how a contemporary historical event either did not happen or was our fantasy.

Y2K , It just didn't happen.

Everyone collected water, and food supplies; others bought software for their computers so they wouldn't crash; others stocked light bulbs, and all sorts of things that one might acquire if there was a storm coming along; people hoarded light bulbs, and emergency food rations, and water and water and water and water purifying tablets.

Everyone waited for Y2K,

well almost everyone. Half the population didn't believe it would happen ; the other half knew it would happen.

THen there were those in between who stored water but no food and no software.

Y2k really was a hoax.

Nothing happened. Everyone used their water or emptied the jugs of water they stored , even for bathing.

People bought new computers simply because theirs were outdated anyway.

There were many OLD programs that probably are still for sale in office stores that have no calendars after the year 2000.

So that's it .

I t just didn't happen. At least in my world it never happened .
