bahahahaha. that was glorious.

You mean travel back in time and introduce her parents? I'd vote for that. Especially if you hadn't already mastered time travel when you began the task.

Deja Voo was a collaborator on the creation of this task. I messaged her because I had never seen anyone else use "Voo" in a username before and I was all giddy at the thought of having a Voo-sister. We got to talking about deja vu and tasking and came up with this one. So she deserves some credit for sure!!
This reminds me of the following seriously messed up Improv Everywhere piece "The Moebius". I'd be up for this if anyone else is.

Which venue might be appropriate for such skilled performance...is anyone interested in orchestrating deja vu?
I'm game. But, perhaps we should try to do something a bit different? I'm not against simply recreating good things that have been done before, but, well, I guess I am against simply recreating good things that have been done before.
How about a very specific street or public-transit scene played out in front of the same audience members by different groups of actors, spread across either time or space?
For example, on a BART car, a couple boards, does something likely to get attention but not obviously staged, then leaves. One stop later a different couple boards the same car and does the exact same thing, etc. Add a plant or two on the car for documentation and some audience interaction, and it could be a lot of fun.
Or, we stage something daily at time and place that's likely to draw the same audience - say, in front of a particular office building at 5:10pm, or at a bus stop the last express bus of the morning. Use different actors every day. Since it's only a one time commitment from each and the days are flexible, we could probably talk a whole lot of people into collaborating.
Or, if we want to go super-creepy, we could design the whole thing for the benefit of a single person. Follow them and cause the same scene play out every couple of hours throughout the day near them, no matter where they happen to be.
Can we cause Deja Voo?
It's been raised, but not answered. It was the second question asked by Senator DA.

my deja vu was unintentional but i am the cause. i was sitting on the bench in front of my school, as i occasionally do on wednesdays and thursdays. i am rarely in the same place on those days; the week before last, i was at kyle's house; that thursd...
