Tasks / Forking Paths
For every choice made, an infinite number of alternative possibilities are eliminated. In time (or fiction), these alternatives cannot be known, only imagined. Spatially, however, the road not taken can indeed be explored.
With a collaborator (or small group), approach a literal "fork in the road." Agree upon a meeting point ahead and take separate paths. Take careful note of the sights and sounds of your chosen path...and share your findings (and, ideally, some sort of physical memento) with those who took a different route to the meeting place.
