oh to be someone people would fight (or rather, display a consistent positive desire) to have in their lives...
Give me a sword, I'll fight for you. I don't promise not to cut myself in the process, though.
Gummies also will fight for their beloved Minch!
it occurred to me after posting my above comment that an interesting interpretation of this would be to get people to go to war over you, and just make the metaphorical connection.
but originally, in my mind, there was this beautiful image of all those fast black ships....
I llike the idea of just launching the thousand ships, for no particular reason other than, hey, cool, ships!
Man, I gotta launch a thousand ships sometime soon.
oh to be someone people would launch a thousand ships over…
i don't need the thousand ships... just a little kindness.
Who's talking about you?
I want a thousand ships launched for me!
I'm going to do this. Paper boats, Mississippi river. I'm at camp, so I can't get photo documentation myself, but I might ask a counselor to help in that regard. I'll need to level up first.
I was actually thinking tiny birchbark canoes. Also Mississippi River, since I'm near it as well.
I am actually on track to finish this. I am 350 points short of level 5, though, so I may need some moderator assistance in submission.
Huh. I've been to Troy. My father is from around there. And the towers of Iliun are generally topless these days... I bet burning them would get one in hella trouble, though.
This WILL be completed on Thursday. I will not have enough points to submit, but I'll post the photos to Flickr.
Unsubmitted is uncompleted.
You need to be at the proper level to submit regardless of whether you are signed up for the task?
I'm pretty sure you don't.
Not that I'm able to check or anything.
Hurrah for finally finishing this task.
Check out the completion.
Ben, we can see your praxis on our updates pages as easily as your comments. Commenting that you have done a task, and sending messages to the entire membership of teams not directly related to it letting us know, isn't really necessary.
I know it's exciting to complete a task on such a grand scale (and hell, a task like that is inherently on a grand scale), but sometimes it's best not to express your excitement quite so effusively lest it come across feeling a little like spam.
I was a little giddy yesterday..
I certainly didn't want to appear like spam.
Sorry.
After something this big, giddiness is understandable.
all of which are neatly packed into my dresser drawer.
Cool!
