I only wish they hadn't ceased running the bus from Elkton, MD to Newark, DE in the off-peak. When they did run such a bus, you could get all the way from Fredericksburg, VA to New London, CT, about 400 miles, on local stop commuter rail and local bus.

I wonder if I can get to Bristol, 250 miles away, where friends live, on local buses. I know I can get 200 miles to South Wales, so it's not that much further...
