When I wrote this task (originally on paper before entering on the site) I had the maps from TAL episode 110 in mind. but I was writing it in... a timed environment? and I didn't have access to certain web-related resources? shall we say?

So I'd like to be more specific about what is meant by "only these data" (thanks for fixing my grammar too, guys). Forthwith: dennis wood map pix. You can see the shape(s) of areas, but the data themselves describe the real picture, and that's kinda what would be nice to see.

And you are here book.

A neat task.
And, at least the second task directly inspired by that particular episode and act.

I also suspect that I failed to get across what I had in mind in that task description. "Do what Dennis Wood did" would have been a more accurate description of what I was expecting, although the resulting praxes were none the less interesting.

This task simultaneously intrigued and confounded me when first I saw it. I thought, "What is Burn Unit smoking?" So of course I had to do it because it made my brain do contortions to figure out a completion with which I would be satisfied...

Mapping in Minute Precision by Lincøln November 1st, 2008 6:24 AM

I decided to do this task, but in an order of magnitude greater than what was called for in the description. The task asks for three days, and I decided to do it for 31 days. I mapped where I was for every hour in the month of October 2008. I chose t...

Mapping in Minute Precision by Adam March 21st, 2008 9:35 AM

Another camera-less task from Adam. That's right, my camera is still being repaired so I've discovered another task to do sans-camera. I wanted to chose three days which would offer some kind of variety of the task so I chose the 19th, 20th and 21...

46! It's one of my favuorite numbers, and therefore the minute I used for my map. I have got some strange comments from my friends about my somewhat obsessive tracking of this Task - my phone has gone off at 46 minutes past the hour, every hour, for...

I took note of my location on the first minute of every hour for three days. I determined the coordinates of each location with google maps.

Well here is the map which contains only my location every hour for the past three days.  While it doesn't look like three days of moving around a lot of the dots are overlapping and I honestly didn't move to much, especially while sleeping.  Kind ...
