Tasks / Pro-Creation

This task is retired.

One of the greatest tests of an artwork's value is its inspiration towards other art. Here the task is to concretize this; to create art that inspires itself; to create art, that is, which creates more art. The original must be art in and of itself, and not ONLY a means of production, and the artwork it spawns may not be strictly identical. The art that is created by your original piece need not pro-create more artwork, but it would be really neat if it did.

If I wrote a program that creates art, that is it self, in some way, a work of art, would that count?

I wonder how you could make code into art... Any thoughts?

if the code were somehow arranged in an artistic manner.. perhaps. but anyhow, mr. =villianz, you'd have to collaborate with an Aesthematic to do it!

alright...
