With the arrival of our branded-new ATT Real Yellow Pages, we all should celebrate by putting these books to good use.
"AT&T Yellow Pages environmental efforts start with manufacturing directories that are completely recyclable and contain a high percentage of postconsumer waste (40 percent minimum);
ending with an annual coordination of hundreds of communities across the state making phone book recycling convenient for residents and businesses.
Most outdated AT&T Yellow Pages are recycled into new telephone book paper as well as household insulation, breakfast cereal boxes, cardboard boxes, agricultural packaging, stationary and more."
In 2006, AT&T Yellow Pages won a Waste Reduction Award from the Waste Reduction Award Program.
So get creative, use those big blocks of over-recycled paper to create something even less useful but more interesting!!!
