On newsgroups misc.transport.urban-transit and ba.transportation, Charles Hobbs posed the question for fun:
Can one in one day ride across the 7 bridges in the SF Bay Area where local transit operates?
Between compiles, I have determined the answer is YES! Both directions, in fact. The tricky part is the Foster City BART shuttle as it has only 2 round trips during each rush hour period.
This trip cannot be done on a weekend, because the BART shuttles and the Dumbarton Express do not operate on weekends. Vallejo Transit and Benicia Transit do not operate on Sundays."
