INSTRUCTIONS: Nearly every month, a rag-tag mob clumps together for a singular purpose. That purpose?
Walking from one end of the city to the other for no damn good reason.
View a cross section of San Francisco through a single street. Watch the culture change from one block to the next. Infiltrate this group, and march on!
The data for this month's march follows:
--------------START-DEATHMARCH-V--------------
The corner of mission and wellington, technically in Daly City but for our purposes serving as the far end of Mission street in San Francisco. We're going to walk from there to the other end of Mission, at the Embarcadero. Then we get on a train and go have a meal together.
Meet at 2pm on Sunday, May 28th, at Mission and Wellington. Look for the bundle of brightly colored people nearby. You might want to wear a hat, and/or wear some sunscreen. Water's a good idea, too. And friends. Bring nice people, bring people who like to walk. Bring the sort of people who like to brag that they've got sore legs because they walked 7 and a half miles through San Francisco on memorial day weekend for no real reason at all, just to walk. Bring your camera, bring your duck-friend, bring your bad puns and your favorite chewing gum. Bring your sense of adventure, even.
---------------END-DEATHMARCH-V---------------
The MARCH is known to wait for no-one. Be timely!
that was a long walk. i have a sunburn to prove it.
