My desk at work. Well, the desk I sit at, anyway. It's actually the desk of the head youth services librarian. 
Keyboard tray
The keyboard tray is very removeable.

And when you flip it over it provides a nice surface to ensconce some arcanity.
The Weapon
The pen is mightier than the sword. The paperclip is shittier than the pen or the sword, but carves okay enough on soft wood.
The Inscription
I wanted to carve something simultaneously literal and annoyingly pseudophilosophical. This is the best I could come up with.

Will anyone ever look underneath the children's librarian's desk at h******e public library to see the arcane and how it is ensconced? Only time will tell.

The coast was pretty much clear the whole time. There's a dude on the other side of the computer bank, but he was distracted. There is a mom-and-son set off to the right looking at their laptop. Neither show up well in this video or were paying much attention. Also this video ended up sideways and is maybe not really worth posting.
