The Permanent Collection by Von Guard

INSTRUCTIONS: Surreptitiously place a book of your creation into a public library, such that it will likely be mistaken for part of its collection.

the floor

the floor

In the San Francisco Library, main branch, on the third floor, right next to the Teen section, is the in-library section, where encyclopedia's and other non-check-outable volumes reside.

The section

The section

This is the section I chose, half at random, half because the librarians couldn't see me from their perch.

My book

My book

This is my book. I printed these up last fall, and it is basically Bash.org quotes, printed. That means it's funny quotes from chat rooms around the Internet. Certainly a volume of import.

Hiding the book

Hiding the book

Again picking at random, this was the perfect spot to place the volume. In between the Encyclopedia of Birth Control, and the Encyclopedia of Crime. Very appropriate!

Book in waiting

The book, hiding, waiting to be found. Go check it out.

I must say, this is a terrible one. You disappointed me.
