INSTRUCTIONS: Get out in the world, find somewhere that you can write. Then, write about everything around you for thirty minutes.

I have been looking at cars at the Isle of Wight College car park. There were lots of cars, makes and colours. There seemed to be many Fords. At the end of the car park a section has been blocked off due to drilling machinery taking samples of the soil. In another part of the car park there were several motor bikes and scooters parked in the bike shed. I think there are approximately 500 car parking spaces.

This is really everything that happened around you for thirty minutes?

The Isle of Wight must be a boring place.
