INSTRUCTIONS: Don't stop moving for a full 24 hours.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~Ty Odin~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
7:31 AM- I'm sitting on the edge of a bathtub trying to talk myself out of this. It's raining, it's cold and I'm totally going to get mugged in down town Houston. I had people walking with me, non players, wildbears, and a few others but life has a way of making us do the scary things alone, doesn't it?
My plan is to walk or 24 hours. In that time I expect to make it all the way to downtown Houston and back. In the way of Proof I plan to get at least one picture an hour if the rain allows me to.
I could deal with the solitude, the likely muggings, and the cold, if only it wasn't raining!
4:03 PM- I walked until my feet blistered and cracked. The rain made me cold and wet but couldn't break my spirit. It was only when wildbear suggested we task and play board games while vigorously moving our hands inside that I was pulled from the cold and wet world I inhabited.
12:02 AM- Games were played, tasks were completed, and many Pepsi's have been drunk (drank?) but it's still not over. 8 more hours of head bobbing, foot tapping, and guitar playing.
I drove Wildbear home after our board-gaming-task-doing extravaganza while tapping the wheel and negotiated an odd situation with a mother looking for her child ( someone's getting grounded! ). I've been chatting with Wildbear and Pixie to keep me up and moving and I can only pray I have enough steam for another 8 hours.
When you make an effort to move you realize how often humans stop and think during a day. We wait for things and slow down all the time. We don't really think of it as a lack of motion, but rather as mental activity or waiting. I have had to walk in place at street lights and play air guitar for a while to keep my motion constant, but I'm absolutely sure I haven't stopped.
8:00 AM- I can stop moving now. It's weird finally being able to just be still. I know I should re type this praxis but I just want to sleep forever ad never even think about this again.
I'm impressed that you didn't let the rain deter you.
