Information Insertion by Whistle Fish, Bear Farmer

July 31st, 2010 11:47 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Insert information in a place that has an absence of information.

Check the pictures and the descriptions for documentation of this task.

Synopsis: There's a playground by our house. No information anywhere as to what to do. We spent some time, designed a "brochure" complete with Teddy Roosevelt quote about playgrounds, and a large picture depicting what to do with each playground component (slide, monkey bars, "Hide-E-Hole", and stairs).

Little descriptions of each section. We forgot the swings in the background. Oh well. They'll have to just figure it out I suppose. The picture is of the actual playground we posted the info.

My favorite part is the "Teddy Says..." section.

What the hell is this?

What the hell is this?

It's brightly colored. It appeals to my senses, yet, I have no idea what to do here. There aren't any instructions.

Bear Farmer.

His specialty is making boxes from other boxes. We now have a home for our information brochures.

Boo Radley has decided to accompany us. We look much less suspicious hanging out at the park if we have a dog in tow.

Brooklyn!

Brooklyn!

On our way we found a piece of mail all the way from Brooklyn. 1.39 is cheap. Must not have been much in the envelope.

"What am I supposed to do here?"

In this day and age, children don't understand such things as playgrounds.

A photo of the playground with information explaining each part including some history.

Success!

Success!

Information has been inserted. Both good and bad: no one was at the park (Most likely due to lack of information about the structure, I'm sure.) We'll go back tonight to see if anyone has taken a pamphlet.

i know this was done as a joke, but i have been to a few playgrounds where there were things i didn't understand. if only there had been instructions at those places, i could have had so much more fun!
