The Taking Tree by Amoeba Man, HFXØ Sponty

October 4th, 2008 5:10 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Hide ten objects in ten trees.

WHOA! Again, TPS0 appears from the shadows to strike out against injustice and things that are generally unpleasant but no one really minds because they crop up everywhere so you kind of get used to them but they still annoy you just a little bit.

Episode 2 Part 2! Double the pleasure, TRIPLE THE FUN! The Taking Tree! Action! Adventure! Romance! Will our heroes save the day?! Yes!

For those of you who can't read all the messages, I have included them here.

#1: The things you own end up owning you.
#2: His name is Robert Paulsen.
#3: Your ass, my grass.
#4: No one knows they saw it, but they all did.
#5: You can't take it with you.
#6: Only once we have given up everything are we free to do anything.
#7: Look upon my works, ye mighty, and despair.
#8: Even in the face of armageddon, never compromise.
#9: Variety is the spice of life.
#10: You come from a sad whale family.

For the record, we had neither the budget nor the time to buy ten interesting things to put in trees, but we think this is cool on a number of levels because it's a little bit creepy. Imagine finding all ten. What would you think?

If I found all 10, I would think there were SFZeroers about

I liked:
high-energy tasking
low-budget tasking
trees whispering in the wind while Gordon Gano whispers in "Blister in the Sun"
showing failed attempts at tree climbing
showing successful attempts at tree climbing
epic music for tree climb

Actually, the part where he whispers is terrifying. I was up in that flimsy tree and all of a sudden there was this huge gust of wind. The part you can't hear because of the music is "Oh s**t! Oh no!".

Yeah, wind, imagine to be at the graveyard and having the rock just fall on you, telling you that about your family...
I liked this video, sorta. A VPVP for you.

I checked today, the rocks are still there.

Environmentally friendly, too.

And I appreciate the update on whether the rocks had been found.

Thank you! And, to date, the rocks have still not been disturbed, as far as I can tell.
