These are the Hungry Horns. They are representative of David's mood when he goes too long without eating. He gets a bit cranky and his inner fork-stabber emerges, ready to impale & digest the universe until it finds something imbued with stomach satisfaction.
It's me wearing them in the picture because in the intervening time between the starting & posting of the task, my computer crashed, taking to it's grave the post-gifting pictures, & the horns have degenerated to bits of fork & paper.
