He took everything in stride. He always bounced back, even when faced with psychiatric care from someone who I highly doubt was licensed. He stood up for his friends and teammates and even when the going got rough, he was never the first to give in. He would always go for the ball even when he knew he probably wouldn't get to kick it. He was always the last one out there on the baseball diamond, even when it started to pour.
You're a good man, Charlie Brown.
Update In a blatant attempt to garner votes, I must respectfully point out that the border of the portrait is made of PEANUTS. PEANUTS!! This is pure comic genius, folks. Come on. Get with the program and vote.

There was one TV special in which Charlie Brown became invisible through a magic trick gone awry, and since Lucy couldn't see him coming, he managed to kick the football several times, albeit not very high...

I too loved the comedy of the peanuts. And the fact that Charlie is indeed brown.
Legend has it that he was able to kick the ball once. Anyways, Charlie is a great cultural hero, and tasty I presume.
