Work is So Strange by Darkaardvark
February 22nd, 2007 4:21 PM
Sleep is a great leisure activity. I've had my share of weird dreams, but for their context, it's not that out of the ordinary. I did, however, have a very strange experience a while back.
The day was Saturday, February 10. I was sleeping in when I was awoken by a rustle, around mid-morning. I glanced over to the floor and saw that a book cover had fluttered to the floor (not a book, just the cover). I yawned and went back to sleep.
At 9:00 that morning, about the time I was awoken (I'm not entirely sure what time, but it was very close), Barack Obama was announcing his candidacy for the presidency.
Okay, now the interesting part. The bookcover was from The Audacity of Hope. The cover was lying on the bookshelf, but my bed doesn't took my bookshelf, and I hadn't touched the bookshelf in several days.

They move and shake in mysterious ways...!
