Pi by FZ!, Wulfgang McFee
November 7th, 2007 10:57 AM
Extensive studies were done to uncover the value of pi. Knowing theoretically that
pi = Circumference / (2 * radius)
our scientists have taken to the field to take measurements.
Field Aestheto-Scientist Fizzbang's Reports:
Where do we see circles closest to us in our daily lives? In our belts.
And these belts are mirrored in the beltway highways that have been constructed around our largest cities. These governmentally-backed belts keep our borders from overflowing the pants of our cities. Millions of citizens travel across these belts, like the fingers of countless teasing lovers.
What other form of circle could be more highly endorsed than these beltways supported by both the cold, unfeeling government and its lusty, energetic citizenry? These "belt-circles" are truly the highest form of mankind's circle.
DC Capital Beltway: pi = 3.03
Baltimore Beltway: pi = 2.70
Wulfgang McFee's Findings
The circle is nature's strongest structure. It represents many of the most important things to us - the earth, the sun, the moon, the mouth, the anus, etc.
By using the accurate measurement tools provided by the next frontier, the internet, Fizzbang and I have uncovered an altogether "new" math.
Pi calculated experimentally in the United States: 3.811
Pi calculated experimentally in Pittsburgh: 3.433
Conclusions
The final experimental value of pi is calculated by the average of our measurements in the field.

Science has proven that Springfield is an exception to the standard rules of science.
Art said the same thing, but in a funny voice. That's how you know it's art.

That's what the value of pi would be if it was decided by a committee of town planners.

Ugh...just thinking about that highway scares me.... spent many wasted hours in the car trapped due to traffic

Very, very cool. I like the application of absolute math to the physical world.
Yea for nerdy math goodness!!! What about the mixing bowl in Springfield? What's the calculations on that part?? Not the same thing huh???
