I like you sticking to the Ink theme.
Just like one of my favorites.
We're going with the White Stripes theme too!
Come join us, why don't you? It's not the Hardest Button To Button - it's hardly a Conquest to change your name... do we have to get the Seven Nation Army to do it for you?
Awesome, Inky. I've been looking for a completion involving a typewriter for ages :D
You made it work and you put it to work for SFØ, but so nicely!
I just looked at my window and saw BU like this
Oldskool is the way to go. But better with a Royal :)
Thanks kids. Here's a present to you- a video of this proof being written.
A coworker recently brought in two antique typewriters for show and tell. I was fascinated to hear that during the early days of typewriter manufacturing, a huge variety of mechanical designs were used. Lot of different keyboard layouts, as well as things like a triple shift system.
Dear Rongo,
Figuring out how it worked was part of the task completion. There is no number "1" (you use the lower case "L" instead), the punctuation is all in different places, there are strange buttons and levers and knobs (ah! this winds the ribbon! Oh- this is for error correction- no wonder the key isn't hitting the ribbon!). I've done a lot of research into typewriter history- it's all very interesting- not as a part of this task, but for a non-SF0 project.
Love,
Inky
I like how you then turned part of this into your player photograph. Is it the character saying hello, or the sheet of paper, or the typewriter?
Dear Bunny,
What an insightful question!
Love,
Inky
COMMENT VOTE.
Just voted on your player photograph - but I should have done that anyway for awesomeness of completing that task.
I didn't want the podcast to get more votes than this.
This is more awesome! =[ I sad now.
I happen to like that album, and a small part of me was wondering if you'd get around to taking on that moniker, it just fit so.
well, you can't be a pimp and a prostitute too
Oh yeah. Good job on the task, too.
