Shoot To Kill by Ink Tea
December 22nd, 2006 3:00 PMhttp://sf0.org/taskDetail/?taskID=364
Your duty is to create a piece of art using your body as the medium, and send me a piece of photodocumentation. This could be a poem written on your skin, a painting done across your legs, or something else of your choosing. When you've done this (or if you have a question about this), please e-mail me at inktea@gmail.com. Do not separate yourself from your art. Realize that you are part of your art and vice versa- that your art is a snapshot in time, and may wash from your skin, or (like a tattoo) may warp or stretch or fade. The impermanency of your art does not make it any less legitimate.
Good luck, hope to hear from you soon.
Love,
Inky
Here's my attempt at inspiration, sent to point out how easy it was to make one's body artful:

The following are contributions from Alice, Anna One, Annnnnnnnnnna, Celina, Curiosir, Gaspar Lewis, Jackie, Piratey Monkey, r0ckc4ndy, Saul Z, Sean Mahan, Spacebug, Star5, Stone Saints, What is 42, and Yenoh Honey. (Not necessarily in that order.)
1/24/7: Lars has added his contribution, to my delight.

ooohhh all very pretty
anna one's and piratey's are so morbid and cool
yall inpired me to add this task:
http://art.sf0.org/taskDetail/?taskID=707
if this were actually a collaborative task I expect more people would have contributed.
Alice, this is a task that kind of illuminates that not everything you do for SF0 has to be done for points, and that you can aspire to having so many points that you can order others to follow.
One of the things that I really liked about SF0 when I joined was that a lot of the things that I would do anyway without the reward of cash, prizes, or points. I'm not motivated by points. But maybe that's just me.
yes, dear inktea, I know. it's kind of you to point it out to me.
I'm sorry that I misunderstood your meaning on "collaborative". I thought I'd come up with a completion of this which was easy for people to do, undemanding, and yet offered some amount of their own inspiration and input, but it seems I was wrong. I don't have the creativitiy to think of a way for people to be more involved in this task without just making fewer people feel like putting forth the effort.
I seriously can't believe that more than 15 people didn't do this!! It says to do it if at all possible, and this was such a cool and reasonable request.
They all turned out so interesting!! And as Saul Z said, we are awfully pretty!!
I'm only not voting for this because I feel that this task isn't about points.
Maybe I should have lent you my 'powers of persuasion' that you think I have...
Have you practiced the pay attention to me song??
No, I haven't practiced the song. I find that I rub people the wrong way when I ask them to do things- things that would be cute and/or charming from others comes off as demanding and/or mean from me, so I've decided to lone wolf it.
I just verbed my noun. Maybe I can verb your nouns later.
Didn't catch this quote last time:
"I just verbed my noun. Maybe I can verb your nouns later."
I'm not exactly sure why, but that is very funny to me.
What a very cool idea! I especially love r0ckc4ndy and piratey's contributions; how creative.
"what if i never spread my wings...."
i have goose bumps.... GOOSE BUMPS i tell ya!
That's our own lovely r0ckc4ndy. It's a heartbreaker.
nice job! good thinking about the body-art thingy! This is a brilliant task, actually :)
