Impress Me! by Not Here No More

INSTRUCTIONS: Create your own coat of arms. Wear or display it publicly.

I decided that I was going to do this task today so (obviously) I did. I had had it saved up in my working on whatchmacallit for a while.

Rather amusingly, it's made from a pillow's fabric. For all you pillow activists the pillow died of natural causes and the rest of the pillow was cremated.

Means "knowledge" in latin. That's where the word science comes from

Here's the whole thing.

Insania, of course, insanity.

I look really weird in this picture.

Here's the actual coat of arms. If it isn't obvious the bone represents the darker side of things, the paintbrush represents art, the scales represent justice, the moon represents night, the heart represents emotions, the book is knowledge. "contemno" is Latin for "defy" .

That's pretty creative o_o
Not exactly something I would wear in public though.

Haven't you already? Considering that public display is part of the task description, I had been assuming so.

I most definitely have. No pix, but i wore it to a board game gathering in a cafe. People thought that it was cool. I am going to wear it to school tomorrow.

I think this is quite a good completion, nice art work. Surely by posting it here you are displaying it publicly anyway?

No. No it doesn't.

Or rather, IMO if displaying something publicly is part of a task, it should be done achieved before hitting praxis.

Agreed.

Lot's of tasks depend on that.

Oh yeah I agree, Im just saying, if you take it literally. It would be totally lame to just say posting it is making it praxis.

But I already displayed it publicly.(went to cafe to play board games) I just poorly worded the fact that i thought that it was fine to wear in public.

Some nice art work there. A lot of people would give their left arm to draw like that. I wouldn't though because an arm has more use than art but yeah I like it.
