BART Anagram Map by JTony Loves Brains

Ahh, Anagrams! They take me back to my childhood, and remind me of sunny days playing adlibs by the pool, reading various kids books and playing Cola Romp, like all kids play in the pool.
Which reminds me of the adventures of a particular childhood character, Ms. Ghetto Athenian Ken, who ran on a very early BART system just off of the Isle of Man, on a little island called The Island of Doors. So, I decided to dig in and find an appropriate map of that rail system and see what we could find.

So that's how the map turned out. I'm mostly happy with it, but I found impossible when some of the place names were too short, so I sometimes added a "station" on the end when there was an issue.
Here's a list of most of the anagrams and their original forms.
Island of Sodor - Island Of Doors
Arlesburgh West - Bluegrass Threw
Arlesburgh Bridge Street - Rehabbed Sluts Rig Regret
Arlesdale - Erased All
Arlesdale Green - Slanderer Eagle
Ballahoo - La La Hobo
Barrow Central railway station - Antibacterials Loan Worrywart
Brendam - Band R.E.M.
Cronk-ny-Braaid - Bankcard Irony
Crovan's Gate - Toga Caverns
Culdee Fell summit - Muscled Emu Fillet
Devil's Back - Black Dives
Dryaw - Awdry (Dryaw was originally an anagram of Awdry, the name of the author of the Railway Series, so I anagrammed it back)
Elsbridge - Bride's Leg
Ffarquhar station - Squat North Affair
Hackenbeck - Knack Beech
Harwick - Raw Hick
Haultraugh - Haul Tar, Ugh!
Kellsthorpe Road - Sparkler Toehold
Killdane - Naked Ill
Kirk Machan - Karmic Ankh
Kirk Ronan - Ark On Rink
Maron - Manor
Marthwaite - Tame Wraith
Norramby - Army Born
Peel Godred - Dredge Pole
Rolf's Castle - Rectal Floss
Suddery - Used Dry
Toryreck - Rocketry
Tidmouth - Omit Thud
Ulfstead - Deaf Slut This showed up in a list of place names but isn't on the map, unfortunately.
Vicarstown - Cavorts Win
Wellsworth - Swell Throw
ffarquhar road - Hard Quaff Roar
Skarloey Road - Already Rooks
Shiloh - Shh...Oil!
Skarloey - Ear Yolks
Lakeside - Idea Elks
rheneas - Hen Arse
glennock - Longneck
cros ny cuirn - Unicorns Cry
Abbey Station - Baa Bites Tony why I don't eat a lot of lamb
Sodor main line - Lame Indoor Sin
ballahoo line - Baa Hello Lion
brendam bay line - Mandible Nearby
ffarquhar line - Quaff Rah Liner
kirk ronan line - Renal Kink Iron
Peel Godred Line - Lingered, Eloped
Arlesburgh Line - Relabeling Rush
Arlesdale Railway - Already Wales, Liar! As this is a fictional place much like (and near) Wales, I found it rather appropriate
Skarloey Railway - Wary Leaky Sailor
Culdee Fell mountain railway - Anatomically Undue Freewill
Main Stations - Into Satanism
Interchange - Teen Chagrin
national rail - Into Anal Rail
Peak hours only - Rhea Looks Puny
Peak hours only - Nearly Hooks Up
I have great respect for those who have done this task. It is way harder than it appears, and the amusement of the anagrams wears off quickly. Several times I nearly quit, but had put enough effort in already that I had to finish. I don't think I'll be doing any anagram puzzles for a while, though.

Oh, the wiki link, and other things, would have told me that, wouldn't it?

"Wary Leaky Sailor" - advice we should all take!

Points, Burn, for recognizing the land of the Fat Controller! Have your read the original books? Stories that Ringo Starr, George Carlin, and Alec Baldwin combined can't ruin!!! Long Live Skarloey and Rhenneas!
And SP, I'm so glad you liked that one... one of my favorites... I imagine an old sailor with a nearly empty-leaking bottle of rum looking askance at a dingy waterfront dive... wary leaky sailor indeed!
So much effort must go into creating these maps...
