Death Kava by jenny il

So, I've been "deathly" afraid of ants my entire life. Whenever I'm extremely stressed out I have these terrible ant nightmares about ants filling my bedroom and then being buried in a growing mass of black.
Reading this challenge, first I thought to myself of all the things I was afraid to eat. Then I realized that it was composed of toxic waste, vials of viruses, glass, and other dangerous materials. Thinking about eating ants, as a concept, didn't scare me but I decided that the syntax of the sentence allows me simply to eat something I'm afraid of.
Three weeks ago I arrived in China. I knew this would be my chance to find some bizarre om noms. A week into my study at Beida U. I discovered that the restaurant directly to the left of my classroom served ants! I couldn't have been happier. Not only could I fulfill my sf0 task but I could also contribute to the extermination of the worst creature on earth.
Yesterday, I ordered two chicken shish kabobs with a side of ants. The fuyuyuan brought out the dish and there they were, a pile of baked ants. I felt my heart begin to race. I knew the ants were dead but having this many ants near me nearly sent me running out of the room. However, I know I had to finish what I had started and so I dipped my skewer into the ants and stu

i hope you have now gained the power of the ants by consuming them, and no longer have ant-swarm nightmares!

have you seen the film old boy? He has a nasty ant-based hallucination in that. On second thoughts you might wanna steer clear of it!

Nice job on eating a pesky fear.
(p.s., it turns out that eating powdered glass is fine, so you needed be nervous about that particular edible)
(p.p.s. Sometimes, it takes the website a bit of time to catch up to what was typed, so the ends of things can get cut off. Best to wait before submitting, or check it w/ the preview.)
:( It looks like the form cut off the end of your story.
Congratulations on using travel to seek adventure and new experiences!
