My re-photography is of an old windmill in Batavia, IL. I've always found it to be creepy..even to the point where I imagine myself shooting zombies with a shotgun from inside of it....but that isnt until at least 2014.
Then i found this old postcard of the windmill, which inspired me to photograph it with a shitty sidekick II camera from a moving vehicle (yes, i was driving) and sepia tone it.
thus...rephotographic!

Nice. I like the fact that it's the feel of the photo that is replicated. Unfortunate that you don't have a body of water, but such is life.

I sadly had to take the picture from that angle.
Once its warmer, i'm gonna figure out where at postcard picture was taken.
Expect more photos to come.

That's amazing for a sidekick photo. I mean, it looks like it was taken by a pinhole camera or something.
