Escape from the Camera by WyS Dubs, GlyphGryph
December 15th, 2007 12:27 PMFirst, we just ran to hide behind the snow mound. Then we decided to do it with the camera further away.
And then with no shirts on and a one second timer. And then just with no shirts on because e didn't make it.
We actually continued this for a while afterwards, but the camera's flash is horrible and it soon got dark, so we don't have a picture of the shirtless sled down steep hill into jump attempts to escape.
Updates: More pictures! We just can't get enough of this task!
First, the treehouse escape picture - an 8 foot drop followed by a quick sprint, starting from the bottom of the ladder, up into the treehouse, and over the fence containing the camera! Then, fleeing over a nearby picnic we continued our escape, only to find ourselves at the top of a steep hill. Readying our slids, we took off - and finally freed ourselves from the camera's pursuit.

Without shirts on AND with a one second timer! Okay, we didn't get far enough, so we put it back to two seconds.

But we weren't finished yet! Quickly scaling our way into a tree house, we launched ourselves from the other side and hit the ground running.

We used the ice-jet boots we acquired between the last picture and now to fly over this table! Quickly now!

And what chase is complete without at least SOME vehicular mayhem? (Note, this is less than a second before hitting a snow ramp and gaining colossal air. My plan to have the camera actually following on its own sled was, unfortunately, vetoed by its owner. Something about fears regarding impacts, ice, and water... ah well. Someday!)
