Leave Clues by LSK, Edward Cage
April 30th, 2008 4:03 PMUnfortunately, I don't think anyone followed our trail. On the way back, we took the trail backwards, and nobody was following it.
Our route.
The majority of the documentation here is in the form of photos. I selected some of the best out of the over 100 taken (we took one of every arrow!) This means, of course, that many merely good arrows are not in here... Nonetheless, enjoy!

This arrow was around 100 feet away from the light.
This arrow was within sight of a traffic light, but around 100 feet and one fence away from it.
Over the fence and through the hills
If one followed the previous arrow without thinking, one would be in plain sight of the traffic light... but blocked by a fence.
Between this photo and the last, many mediocre photographs were skipped, so a sense of distance might be thrown off. This was around 5/8 of the way there.
The arrow goes all the way across.
We risked life and limb to draw an arrow all the way across a street.

'twas the remaining chalk. As noted in the description, we didn't have much else on us.
OK. Fair enough. I like the time and work that went into this. I'd just rather there be some treasure that was unique or especially cool at the end of 1.8 miles of walking (and jumping fences).
Isn't this more "Exquisite Derive"?
It wasn't quite a derive because we had a route in mind from the start.

What was the buried treasure?
