Receiving kudos and votes on my first task from some of the most inspirational players on SF0 means a lot.
This game looks like it's going to be fun.
I like the 3-word sentences. It gives the piece a nice rhythm, and compliments the micro-fiction theme nicely.
I'll attest that you sent me a copy of the story independently, fulfilling the task requirement that it be sent to another player.

I hate to be a spoil-sport, especially in the face of a creative and well-documented completion, but are you really shrinking anything?
I'm no biologist, but I've always assumed that hands wrinkle in water because the outermost layers of skin take on water and expand. The alternative, that the underlying substrate somehow interacts with the water and shrinks while the top layer remains unchanged, seems implausible enough to require some evidence. What's more, the dozen or so top google hits support that assumption.
Until you convince me that something is actually shrinking, I'm afraid I can't in good conscience vote for this.
(This is generally the part of the conversation where we segue into a long discussion in which I attempt to convince you that I really do know how to have a good time and that precision isn't incompatible with humor. As you no doubt can imagine, it is not a discussion I often win. So, I'll just apologize for being an uptight, no-fun, fuddy-duddy and leave off here.)

Nice completion. (I'd probably vote for it if it were submitted by any other player. I've been holding off on voting for your tasks, since voting for one's real, out-of-game friends feels a bit sketchy. Hope you aren't too badly offended.)

I withdraw my objection. If it seems like something is shrinking, then I suppose that's good enough for me.
I suppose it would depend on the rules governing the virtual space. In one similar to the real world and populated by beings like us, you probably start by walking to the art supply store and exchanging money for canvas and paint . . .
(Yeah, I know this task doesn't make too much sense. It seemed coherent at the time. Perhaps this is a lesson in why most of the experienced players minimize detail when laying out task descriptions.)
Time for a dumb newbie question: what's an NPC? Searching sf0 turns up only references to this page and a photo of someone apparently surprised by soup.
ScienceGuru is of course correct. In the exhaustive and detailed study I made of the website before posting, I apparently failed to notice that "the mayor of Claycord" isn't actually a city official, and that Claycord isn't in actually a city. I hereby formally apologize to the mayor and residents of Concord for my stupidity, and withdraw my suggestion.
We can only hope that in the inevitable, destructive war my post is sure to cause, the city of Concord makes the same mistake and chooses to attack the airport instead of us.
I suppose that explains why I've now been upgraded to the "two private messages *and* a public post in response to every comment I make on SF0" plan. But then, that's the difference between voyeurism and stalking. A voyeur actually enjoys watching. A stalker just wants it known that they're watching. (Not an easy task in a world that has learned to ignore spam and message-board griefers.) Given a choice, I know which I'd rather be; however, I'm glad there is a third option.
