Notes on the sky-filled head shots:

What better way to respond to a photo task accompanied by a sous rature gesture than with a literal photo sous rature?

Besides, aping Magritte is always fun, and a hell of a lot easier than trying to come up with a witty Derrida reference.

This is a picture of myself, taken explicitly for this task. (The clouds are original as well, but were taken long ago.) First is a square crop that should look okay in the rogues gallery, then a composition that I like better.

Finally, since I was already in Magritte drag, I tried a couple other poses. Alas, I could find no apples or flowers in the house, and no thin fishing line with which to suspend them. But, the broccoli held by hand doesn't do too badly.

Receiving kudos and votes on my first task from some of the most inspirational players on SF0 means a lot.

This game looks like it's going to be fun.

As one day Loki, I may march under your banner against the Aesir, I salute you. And, since that hammer-robot wasn't a task you deserve many, many votes. Though, I have sworn to fight the robots with Lincoln and Cordon Bleu. Is this not Loki's very nature though? Mine leader and mine foe. The trickster be a foot!

Ooh, which is more Loki's nature... monkeys, or robots..... hmmmm
I'd say it would have to be a split. Loki is as much about planning his chaos (the robots... set on specific courses to product maximum mahyem) as he is about just letting loose and seeing where the limbs fall (opening the cages of the enraged monkeys). In fact, Loki's entire being might be summed up by that pull - planned chaos vs. utter mayhem. Oh, gods, the Vikings are getting under my skin and pulling at my Danish blood... where is that beard tonic?
