INSTRUCTIONS: Install mirrors in such a way as to cast a reflection through at least three rooms.

In doing this test, we had a huge advantage and a huge disadvantage.

In our favor, each of the rooms in our home is painted a different vivid color (except for a wall we kept white). So it was easy to tell when we had three rooms reflected, because the mirror would show three colors.

We were hampered by the fact that we turn out to be terrible communicators. When I think of the time we spent saying, increasingly testily, "That corner. NO. That corner!" to each other, I want to weep.

We started out with two moveable mirrors and one immovable one. We couldn't shift the bathroom mirror , so we angled around it. I placed the full-length mirror in the next room, and after some wrangling, got in in place so the teensy mirror Lovesmasher held reflected it. Then it was just a matter of tilting each mirror (and swearing at each other) and voila!

Pink! White! Green! (and a hint of purple!)
Another shot of the three rooms (plus, now that I look at it, a hallway)
