I like to keep a variety of photos on my computer, mainly to look at if I get a sudden pang of homesickness or friendsickness. Naturally, many of these photos contain me, as I am generally found among the people I care about. So, the task to upload a picture of myself presented somewhat of a problem. "Which picture to upload?" I wondered to myself as I browsed my myriad photos.
In the end, I settled on this one: me on the night of my senior prom. A picture of me, carefree, happy, different, and proud of it. You may ask, "different" with an accompanying arched eyebrow. To which I reply, how many high school girls do you know wear a homemade dress to prom, and in an Asian style at that. I can say with complete confidence that I was the only one at my senior prom. And perhaps, I shall be the only one here.
Update: I then added a picture of myself at my 18th birthday pary. Yes, turning 18, I had a pirate party, and it was simply astounding.
Update: I figured it is time to update my image a bit. Here are two that rather reflects my strangeness and fondness for dressing up.
