Document A Construction by Møuse
May 5th, 2007 11:30 AM
This task has sat in my list of tasks i have signed up for since New York last september.
This is because of so many reasons, mainly i have been planning this task for a long time, but it ended up being something completely different.
I completed this task a month ago, since then i have been wrestling with several options. I have decided to sacrifice possible votes by going down a clear and simple route rather than give a huge back log about how this came to happen, which would infringe upon other peoples creative actions.
This is the documentation of the creation of an experience. The experience has the possible name of "A Room of Free Reference", but thats not important.
One night in Estonia I had a dream that I built a theatre underground using huge digging machines. The next day I was provided a link to the san francisco diggers and their work. This is also not important. I cant stand up to the works of EG and The Diggers.
It begins here..
Over the internet 1000 metres of satin ribbon was ordered.
Clothes were found in local charity shops and purchased for tiny amounts of money.
Furniture was supplied for free.
250 cakes were baked.
A rusty metal frame was liberated from a workshop.
One sunny day in April, we started to build.
The trees had just blossomed.
It was the right time.

I like how you incorporated the trees that were already there and defined a new space with an atmosphere.

Chaos played a major role. At one point a magician started doing tricks inside the space and played find the lady for a while. At night there was a theatre light being used to project different colours onto the trees. I have photos of such but my camera is misplaced.

If I could vote three times I'd still want to vote four.

Every time I see this on the main page, I want to vote for it again.

Another example of Mouse usurping credit! Tyranny! The violence inherent in the system!

Such a great idea! I want to a place like that to hang out in all the time!
That is one of the coolest things I've ever seen.
