Rephotography by Robert Burt, [Insert Better Name Here]

February 18th, 2008 1:02 PM

INSTRUCTIONS: Recreate a photograph that is at least a dozen years old as well as you can.

This was quite the difficult task, we couldn't find the hat, or sleeping bag on short notice. Instead, we used a blanket and omitted the hat all together.  We both took a couple pictures of each other, trying to find the best scope, but that was also difficult, because our train car was on a hill as opposed to flat ground. (ROBERT: It was actually quite scary. There was a hobo's bed set up in that boxcar, but I couldn't quite tell if there was anyone sleeping in it.)

Hobo talk.

Don't worry too much about the "sleeping bag". Chances are that you are more accurate having used a blanket. A hobo bed roll is referred to as a bindle.
